Pilot service

SolarSearch is a Nevada pilot for identifying properties that may be suitable for solar evaluation. Parcel records, imagery and roof insights can be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. Users must verify property, roof, electrical, ownership and utility information before making a proposal.

Authorized use

Protected features are for approved representatives. Users must obtain and document appropriate homeowner authorization before collecting a bill or connecting any protected utility information. SolarSearch does not determine whether a particular consent process satisfies every utility rule or law.

Solar data

Solar feasibility information may include content from Google Maps Platform's Solar API and is subject to applicable Google Maps Platform terms. Solar information must be used for evaluating, designing, installing or proposing an energy system and must not be represented as a completed onsite survey.

No automatic utility access

SolarSearch does not call utilities, retrieve utility bills, or treat an address as permission to access a customer's energy information. A future bill-data feature, if launched, will use a homeowner-authorized bill upload or a customer-approved read-only account connection and will be separately reviewed before release.

Acceptable use

Users may not scrape the service, evade usage limits, misuse personal information, submit false authorization, probe credentials or use SolarSearch for unlawful discrimination or harassment.

Availability

The pilot is provided as available without a guarantee of continuous service, data coverage, savings, system performance or proposal accuracy.
